Addition by Subtraction: Remove the bad habits, behaviors, and vices that are holding you back!

The key to making every day successful is not by adding more to your day, but rather by subtracting what no longer serves you. 

Bad habits, distractions, vices, and addictions can all pull you away from accomplishing your goals and living the life of your dreams. 

When you get rid of the things that no longer serve you, you can make time and space for that which does. 

If you can do this in your personal life, it will directly extend to your professional life. 

How we do one thing is how we do everything. 

It’s been over 2 years since I’ve gotten drunk, smoked pot, taken Aderrall, watched porn, or gambled in my personal life. 

Removing these unhealthy behaviors has not only improved my marriage, my health, and my confidence, but it has had a direct, profound impact on my coaching business and income. 

When we shed our old identity, we can step into our greatest potential. 

This journey can take years as we constantly have the opportunity to optimize and continue to take inventory of our emerging bad habits or any old ones that resurface. 

Grace along the journey is everything, as transformation usually takes time. 

Step one is to identify all the behaviors and bad habits that you would like to change and write them down. 

Step two is to get help from experts who have successfully overcome the specific challenges you face. 

This is especially important if you have tried unsuccessfully to stop on your own and failed repeatedly. 

Help can come in many forms. 

It could be as simple as going online and reading articles, buying a book,  or listening to a podcast. 

If it’s addictive behaviors, therapy, peer support, and 12 step groups are extremely effective.

The key is that you WANT to change and are ready to seek and accept help. 

We are only as sick as our secrets. 

Once you identify the bad habits or behaviors you want to remove and get help, you can slowly (or rapidly) begin to remove and replace them with healthy, positive habits.
