Fireside Chat with Anthony Natoli

Four years ago, Anthony Natoli hit rock bottom, was $100,000 in debt, and was struggling from a severe gambling addiction.

Today, he’s completely sober from gambling, debt free, and a top Account Executive in tech.

He’s running a half marathon this year and has appeared on dozens of podcasts to share his inspiring story with those looking to change.

I had the pleasure of chatting with Anthony in this month’s Fireside Chat, where he shares his story of personal transformation and walking the path of becoming the best version of yourself.

In raw, unfiltered detail, Anthony shares what life was like before he quit gambling, the source of his addictions, the steps he took to change, and the journey of constantly taking personal inventory to improve yourself.

Here are some of the top takeaways from our discussion:

  • The journey is never over. Even though he quit gambling, addictive behavior can reveal itself in other areas, such as overeating and overworking. The work never stops.
  • Self-awareness is foundational to self-improvement
  • Helpful tools to use when you get triggered
  • How to manage the day to day stress that comes with tech sales
  • Why facing your demons is necessary to perform at your full potential

And SO MUCH MORE.

What I loved most about the interview was the focus on what success really means in life.

There are so many top sales performers who struggle outside of work in their personal lives, relationships, health, spirituality, or with addictive, compulsive behaviors.

You are not alone…

Sales success at work is just one aspect of life success, and if it comes at the expense of other key areas, it’s not worth it.

You can climb a mountain, but if you are alone when you arrive, the view won’t be as special.

It’s possible to HAVE IT ALL, but it takes working on yourself OUTSIDE of work.

Huge thanks to Anthony for sharing his story with our community.
