Life-Changing Lessons I Learned from My Near-Death Experience
Most of us will never experience a “near death experience,” but those who have will all agree that it is life changing in many ways.
I recently appeared on April Garcia’s “PivotMe” Podcast, where I shared my life story and the catalyst which led me to start making videos and coaching others.

On December 28th, 2018, I was stuck on a roller coaster upside down for 30 minutes staring at a 18 story drop below me. The ride was a “hanging coaster” so the track was suspended above us and all of our weight was supported by a single chest harness.
People were passing out from blood rushing to their heads, and bystanders on the ground took pictures and filmed us from below. During that time, I truly felt like the harness would give out and I would plunge to my death.
I’ve never been so afraid in my entire life.
I wouldn’t consider myself a “religious” person but I’ve always believed in God, and during that time I prayed like I had never before to survive the ordeal.
I thought of my wife Sandy, my son Max, and how much I loved them. I also thought about my life up to this point, and while I had experienced material success, I had an epiphany that I had spent most of my life “taking” and not “giving” or sharing my gifts with the world.
At that moment I made a PROMISE to God to start giving back, and while I didn’t know how exactly how I would do it, I knew that I would.
Once I made that promise, the ride immediately started again, which propelled me on a journey of producing videos, speaking, and coaching others. To this day, I am guided by that promise of serving others in all areas of life, including family, friends, customers, and those struggling with addiction.
For those of you longing to pursue your passion, start a side hustle, share your gifts, or simply live life differently, don’t wait until your life flashes before your eyes.
Because that may never happen, and if it does it may be too late.
Start doing what you’ve always longed to do NOW, in whatever capacity you can and SHARE YOUR GIFTS with the world. I can promise you that if you do this your life will begin to change for the better, just as mine did on that day.
