Re-energize yourself for the second half of 2020

2020 has been a difficult year for sales professionals…

The global pandemic has placed tremendous strain on many businesses, causing companies to explore ways to cut costs and closely scrutinize any new investments.

Layoffs and furloughs have become increasingly common, and AE’s fortunate enough to still have jobs are now challenged to sell completely from home making it difficult to build meaningful relationships with customers.

The challenge of selling in this “new norm” has left many reps feeling discouraged and unmotivated, impacting overall work ethic.

For any reps who’ve had a tough 2020 and are feeling discouraged, it’s essential to RE-ENERGIZE yourself so that you can still have a great year.

Remember this: we can only control what we can control, and we have 100% over how we show up and how hard we work every day!

Today I share 3 tips that will help you get RE-ENERGIZED for the second half of 2020!

1. Get moving at the start of the day with at least 15-20 minutes of exercise.

2. Start with Why. Come up with 2-3 reasons why you NEED to be successful this year, write them down, and read them before starting work each day

3. Write out your “plan to make plan” and focus every day on executing activities that will advance the deals forward that get you over plan.
