The Proposal Template that helped me close $100M in sales

I’m about to give you one of the most powerful tools I’ve ever created—and until now, I’ve never shared it publicly.

This week’s video training walks you through how to use storytelling to win more deals and connect with your buyers on an emotional level. This is the same exact approach I used to close over $100M in enterprise sales and become the #1 AE at Salesforce.

And I’m giving you the “Killer Proposal Template”—the same one my coaching clients use to close over 50% of their deals.

Why storytelling works in sales

Your buyers don’t remember bullet points.
They remember stories—especially stories about themselves.

The biggest mistake I see in proposals and exec readouts?
They’re all about you—your product, your company, your pricing.
That’s not what buyers care about.

Your job is to make them the hero of the story. And the best way to do that is with the Story Mountain framework.

Here’s how it works 👇

1. Exposition (Setting the Stage)
Introduce the characters (their company, their team) and their goals.
Example: “You’re trying to grow market share and become #1 in your space.”

2. Rising Action (Obstacles and Pain)
This is the heart of the story. Talk about the challenges they’re facing.
Quote stakeholders, reference real pain from discovery.
Example: “Your growth has stalled. Competitors are catching up. Your reps are missing targets.”

You’re building emotional tension. Make them feel it.

3. Climax (The Turning Point)
Now introduce your solution.
Example: “Then you found a better way… you partnered with [your company] to unlock your sales team’s potential.”

4. Falling Action (Reassurance and ROI)
Ease the tension. Show how your solution works, what the ROI is, what the rollout plan looks like.Give them confidence: “Here’s how we’ll train your team. Here’s how others like you succeeded.”

5. Resolution (Next Steps + Buy-In)
Now that they’re emotionally bought in, close the loop with your mutual action plan.
Lay out clear next steps and invite them into the journey. Get their commitment to move forward.
